lectio Divina

Lection Divina (prnounced "lec-tee-oh di-vee-nah"), Latin for "sacred reading," "divine reading," is a spiritual practice of engaging with scripture that has been in use for over a thousand years.

Lectio Divina offers us another way of communicating with the Lord. All too often in prayer and worship, we talk to God but don't give him a chance to communicate back to us Lectio Divina employs God's own words to have a personal conversation with him.

Lectio Divina meets the first Tuesday of the month at 1:00-2:00pm

neighborhood book club
