baptisms at st marks

The ceremony of baptism involves making vows in the form of a covenant with God to live a life in accordance with God's dynamic, loving flow. This commitment must be taken after deep prayer and consideration and is one which is made in the context of St Mark's worshipping community.

When we baptize babies and small children we do so in the understanding that their parents are making those commitments for them and will bring their children to confirmation when they reach the maturity to make their own commitment.
